This route runs along the northern slope of Montejurra, passes through areas of holm oak and pine forests, and offers sweeping views of the valley. From the town center, signposted local trails lead to Barbarin and the area around Mount Luquin or Tres Mugas, as well as circular routes connecting Luquin, the Santa María hermitage, Barbarin, and the town center itself.

The town center features a compact and orderly layout, with traditionally styled homes, several houses bearing coats of arms, and public spaces tied to community life. In the center of the village stands the parish church of San Martín Obispo, the town’s main heritage landmark. Nearby is the Basilica of Our Lady of Los Remedios and El Milagro, one of the most notable monuments in the area, both for its artistic value and for its historical and devotional significance.

Life in Luquin revolves around its religious celebrations and shared traditions. Of particular note are the festivities associated with the Basilica of Our Lady of Los Remedios and El Milagro, which continue to serve as a gathering place for residents and visitors to the valley through pilgrimages and liturgical ceremonies.
