Eulz is one of the municipalities in the Allín Valley, located about six kilometers from Estella-Lizarra, on the slopes of Mount Belástegui and within the natural setting formed by the Lóquiz and Andía mountain ranges. Designated a historic site, the town center preserves the traditional style of the small villages of Tierra Estella, where the landscape, rural life, and proximity to the regional capital make a visit a peaceful and accessible experience.
The town’s skyline is dominated by the parish church of San Sebastián, one of its main heritage landmarks alongside the devotion to the Virgin of Los Remedios. The sloping streets, restored homes, and community spaces reflect a town that maintains the neighborhood structure and daily rhythm characteristic of the valley’s municipalities.
The natural surroundings are another of its major attractions. Mount Belástegui and the trails winding along its slopes offer walking routes and natural viewpoints overlooking the valley. The Bellín river beach, on the Urederra River and located within the municipality’s boundaries, becomes one of the most popular spots during the summer months. Agricultural activity continues to be a presence in the area, with local experiences and products that connect visitors to the region’s cuisine.
Local celebrations, led by the feast of Saint Sebastian, the town’s patron saint, and the patron saint festivities in September, keep alive the community traditions that shape the town’s social life and strengthen the bond between residents and tourists in this enclave of the Allín Valley.
